For our upcoming field trips, including swimming lesson, we are always in need of volunteers. If you have your volunteer clearance complete and can help, please reach out to your child's teacher. If you would like to complete your volunteer clearance or move it over from another CBE school, contact Ms. Bawar in the main office.

Please remember, as we plan for the upcoming school year it is important that we have current addresses for all of our students. If you have moved or if your address needs to be updated, please contact Ms. Bawar in the main office. CBE school enrollment is based on home address and as our school is closed status (meaning we are quite full!) it is important that all students in our area have space to attend.

If you have a child starting kindergarten in 2025-26 please get them registered as soon as possible. This is completed online, at the following link

In the coming months we will update you on particulars, dates and any important information for the coming school year

For grade 6 students headed to Ernest Morrow School next year, please save the date for May 1, 2025. There is an open house for students and parents that evening. We would recommend that all grade 6 students and their families attend. Please stay tuned for times and particular details.

Grade 6 students will also be writing Provincial Achievement Tests (PAT's) in May and June. The schedule is as follows

  • May 28 - ELAL Part A (written) Exam
  • June 13 - Math Part A (mental math) Exam
  • June 16 - ELAL Part B (reading comprehension) Exam
  • June 17 - Math Part B Exam
  • June 18 - Social Studies Exam

As usual, please reach out with any questions.

All the best,

Mary-Elizabeth Kaiser
