Dear Families,

Welcome to February! We have survived the cold temperatures January brought to Calgary and we are looking forward to a busy month ahead with lots of learning and fun at Patrick Airlie!

I would like to welcome Rolf Haensel, who will be at Patrick Airlie over the coming weeks as our Acting Assistant Principal while Ms. Claudette is away on leave. Mr. Haensel is a retired CBE Principal and brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, we are lucky to have his support. We wish Ms. Claudette the best.

Report Cards & IPPs

Report cards are now available for viewing. They can be viewed through your MyCBE Account.  If you need help signing up for this account or are having trouble viewing report cards, please contact the main office for support.  The link above also walks you through how to set up your account. Please note, we encourage you to save the file or take a picture if you would like to save this document.

It is important that parents/guardians have this account as it will be something utilized throughout your child’s schooling for report cards, school fees, parent teacher conference booking, along with marks and attendance as they get older.

If your child is on an IPP, this was also sent home.

Reminders & Important Dates

Thank you, families, for ensuring our students are coming prepared for the weather with proper snow gear etc. Any concerns about getting winter items, please speak with your student’s teacher or the main office.

We also appreciate the continued effort that our community is putting towards safety at drop-off and pick-up. Families have been considerate of our new signage, and we encourage everyone to make safe choices of where to park and drop-off/pick-up their children. We will continue to prioritize and monitor safety and have had the support of Calgary Police Services, traffic safety unit to monitor and educate.

If you signed up for vision care through Nations Vision, they will be on-site this month for an initial visit and back again in March.

CBE is updating school websites, beginning this month. You may notice some visual changes to our site but the same information will be available.
