Dear Families,
It is difficult to believe that it is the middle of June already! It has been a busy few weeks here at Patrick Airlie, as we finish off learning tasks and prepare for upcoming year end events, both students and staff are on their toes! Our annual Pancake Breakfast was a success on June 7, thank you to families who were able to make this event. All student participated in PLAY Day on June 14, this was a great day and it was wonderful to see our students enjoying the activities and stations organized by our teachers. Our staff put a lot of planning and work into this day, I appreciate their dedication. Thank you to our volunteers who supported this event as well.
Some upcoming events, to take note of:
June 19 – School Council Meeting, 6pm at the school
June 21 – National Indigenous Peoples Day/ Wear Red for Summer Solstice
June 26 – Report Cards Available for Parents to view (via your MyCBE portal)
June 27 – Year End Assembly at 10am, Families are welcome to attend

June 28 – Last Day for Teachers
Please note, the main office will close for the summer at 12pm on June 28. It will re-open on August 29 at 9am.
Thank you to our volunteers that have supported us throughout the school year! Joining us on field trips and participating in activities at school, we could not have done this work without you. We appreciate all you time
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Integrated School Support Program (ISSP). Once again, they have been an instrumental support to our school community. It is through their support we can offer breakfast and lunch programs, a full-time PE teacher and a psychologist on staff. They have supported in a variety of ways, throughout the year and this means a lot to our school. They are fully funded by the Calgary Police Youth Foundation. We look forward to this continued partnership in 2024-25.
Another partnership we will be lucky to have in 2024-25 is Ever Active Schools. They will be working collaboratively with our students and staff to build a better understanding of safe practices to and from school. They will also be providing a leadership opportunity for some of our older students. Stay tuned for more info in September!
Any questions, please reach out to the main office.
All the best,
Mary-Elizabeth Kaiser
