Dear Families,
Spring is finally here and we are excited for more sunshine and time outside now that it is May! Our Patrick Airlie community has a busy couple of months left of school and we wanted to send some reminders and updates.
Volunteers needed! Students will be attending swimming lessons later this month, following the Swim to Survive program at Bob Bahan Pool. If any parent has their volunteer clearance and is able to volunteer to help out, please reach out to Ms. Halls, our teacher-in-charge. She can be contacted via email at ndhalls@cbe.ab.ca. Aside from swimming lessons, many teachers are planning field trips and parent volunteers help make this possible. If you are able to help out, please reach out to your child's teacher.
Families will have received communication from CBE regarding bell times and transportation for the 2025-26 school year. Due to walk zone changes from the government, many CBE schools are impacted.
For the 2025-26 school year, bell times at Patrick Airlie will be:
Monday-Thursday: 8:33am-3:08pm
Friday: 8:33am-12:28pm
If your child is eligible for transportation, with the new walk zones, and you would like to take advantage of this service, registration opens next week. This is done through your myCBE Account. Please note, there is a fee charged for bussing.

If you have a child who will be attending kindergarten next year, please make sure you have them registered! Registration should be completed as soon as possible and is done online.
Lastly, if you are moving in the coming months or over the summer, please contact Ms. Bawar in the main office. It is important we have updated information and everyone attends their designated school.
