Dear Families,
Happy November! It has been lovely to see our students and staff in their classrooms and engaged in learning! As teachers, we appreciate your patience as we get everyone back to a regular schedule. Staff are taking time to re-establish routines, re-connect with students and to build on the good work started in September.
With our re-entry, some timelines and events have been adjusted or postponed. We will continue to keep you up to date as we confirm details.
Firstly, I would like to thank Ms. Jennifer Dunne, art teacher at Jack James School, who completed our Paint the Pavement project along with her grade 10, 11 and 12 art students. They are a group of talented artists and we are thrilled with their completed work (which was based on designs by PAS students)! This project was made possible by funding from ActivateYYC. The areas painted match with the no stopping zones set by the city so we ask that during drop-off and pick-up families DO NOT PARK on the painted areas. School busses only are permitted. Thank you for your cooperation.
I would like to share that Patrick Airlie School is being generously supported by IATSE Local 212 Calgary (a local theatre union). They are donating winter coats for all Patrick Airlie students! We are very lucky to receive this support and students will be given their coats this week. Any questions, please reach out and ask the main office.
Make sure you can log into your myCBE account. Parent Teacher Conferences, happening later this month, will be booked through this account and fees/waivers are also processed through this account. Please note, lunch room fees will be adjusted so that families are not charged for missed days in October.
In your myCBE account, all students MUST have updated Demographics Forms completed for the 2025-26 school year. We ask all parents to do this task for each child, as soon as possible.
Ms. Bawar in the main office can support with log in questions for the myCBE account.
