Dear Families,
Thank you for your support and teamwork which helped to get our school year started in a good way! It has been wonderful to have student back in the building, creating routines and jumping back into learning.
As we continue to monitor potential labour action in the coming weeks, we encourage families to watch for emails from CBE communicating any disruptions to learning. For now, it is business as usual and we are so happy to be working with your children!
Throughout the year, staff will be updating student assessment information and news. This will be done through your myCBE account and Google Classroom.
Assessment information will be shared on your myCBE account. Teachers will be entering an update monthly for each subject. If you do not have a myCBE account we encourage you to sign-up. This is a vital tool for all parents as it is also required to view report cards, book Parent Teacher Conferences, pay fees and apply for waivers. Directions on how to set up your account can be found here.
All teachers have Google Classroom spaces set up and this can be utilized to monitor classroom learning and upcoming events. Information can be found here and students utilize their CBE username and password to log in. All our grade 3-6 students have logged into their account already and our kindergarten, grade 1 and 2 will be logging in during the coming months.
CBE is presenting a Child & Youth Well-Being Family & Caregiver Series. Information and registration can be found here and is open to all CBE families. This is a fantastic resource and we would encourage everyone to check this out.
