Dear Families, 

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! Our staff at Patrick Airlie School are looking forward to welcoming students on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. 

Teachers will be reaching out to families this week to welcome students to their classroom (if you see a phone call from an unknown number, please answer it!).  The first day of school, all grade 1-6 students will meet on the back field. Teachers will be there with a sign, identifying themselves. Students are asked to find their teacher who will take them inside to their classroom. Parents can say good bye to students on the field.  If you do not hear from your teacher by Friday morning, please phone the main office to check in. 

A reminder that all students need a parent/guardian to pick them up from school on September 2. Walking permission forms will be sent out that day and must be returned for your child to walk home without an adult. 

The first day of school is a full day. Students should bring with them:  indoor shoes, a lunch and water bottle. A backpack is a great idea however students will also be receiving a backpack and supplies to take home with them. 

Kindergarten students will be starting on a staggered schedule. During staggered entry, kindergarten students will be dropped off and picked up at the front doors of the school. Please see below. If you are unsure which group your child is in, please reach out to the main office.

Monday to Thursday - 8:33am-3:08pm

Friday - 8:33am-12:28pm
